Last week, Jess Brown-Fuller had the opportunity to join an in-person Q&A session with Bosham Parish Council, hearing directly from residents about the issues affecting their community.
A key concern raised during the meeting was water quality, which residents highlighted as an ongoing issue for residents in Bosham. Jess listened to first-hand accounts of the impact this is having on the community. Jess has previously written to Southern Water, asking them to justify multiple prolonged sewage releases directly impacting Chichester Harbour and surrounding waters.

Development in and around the Bosham area was also discussed, as well as travel provisions including active travel routes and bus fares, issues that Jess was able to raise in a debate she held the following week in Parliament on Transport in the South East.
Reflecting on the meeting, Jess Brown-Fuller said:
“Thank you to Bosham Parish Council for facilitating a Q&A with local people and for such a constructive and informative discussion. Hearing directly from residents about the real challenges facing our communities is essential, and I’m here to make sure these concerns are raised at the appropriate levels.”
Jess is committed to continuing to meet regularly with community groups, residents and parish councils across the constituency to ensure local issues are heard and represented in Parliament.
