Parliamentary rules mean that Members of Parliament can only assist individuals who live in their own constituency. If you live outside the Chichester constituency, Jess won’t be able to respond to your enquiry, as she must prioritise supporting her own constituents.

As your MP, Jess can assist with issues involving national government departments, such as benefits and pensions, immigration and visas, HMRC or child maintenance services.

​For matters like housing, planning, schools, waste or parking, your first point of contact should be your local council. Jess can't give legal or financial advice. You may find our list of useful links helpful.
3 / How long will it take to get a response?
Jess receives a high volume of emails and has to prioritise the most urgent cases. Please expect a wait time of around 21 days for an individual matter and 35 days for policy responses.
