Jess Brown-Fuller MP hears from Funtington residents at Q&A event

Funtington Parish Council hosted Jess Brown-Fuller MP on Friday 21 November 2025 for a Q&A session with local residents.

The event was organised following Jess’ invitation in the summer 2025 to every parish council in Chichester constituency to hold Q&As or similar events.

Funtington Parish Council Chair Jane Mottershead presided over the afternoon meeting, which was attended by up to 40 residents who raised questions on topics including planning, rural crime, water extraction, local government reorganisation, estate management fees, and hospital services.

Following the event, Jess said:

“I was delighted to speak to Funtington residents today and hear directly about the issues that matter most to them.”
"Being accessible to constituents and taking their concerns to Parliament is absolutely vital to me, and I look forward to continuing these conversations across the constituency.”
“Thank you to Funtington Parish Council for facilitating this event.”

Since the beginning of summer, Jess has held Q&As and surgeries with Compton and Up-Marden, Stoughton, Donnington, Fishbourne, Lavant, and Chidham Parish Councils. These Q&As and surgeries offer residents the opportunity to engage with Jess face-to-face, in addition to her online surgeries, casework, and weekly news column.
