On Friday 6 March, Jess Brown-Fuller attended a Q&A session with residents in Bersted, where community members had the opportunity to raise issues and ask questions directly.
The event brought together residents, local parish and district councillors and business owners, for an open discussion on the matters affecting the local community.

Questions covered a range of topics including flooding, planning and infrastructure, youth unemployment, and the challenges facing the hospitality industry.
Chairing the session was local Councillor Jill Yeates, Chair of Bersted Parish Council.
Following the event, Jess said:
“It was great to meet with residents in Bersted, and discuss the issues affecting the local community.
Flooding, planning pressures, and the challenges facing local businesses and our young people are topics that I regularly hear about from constituents across the constituency.
Bersted experiences its own unique challenges, especially in relation to development and flooding, as well as transport infrastructure.
I’d like to thank everyone who came along to share their views, and to the clerks for their help in organising this event.”
Jess has offered Q&As to all Parish Councils across the Chichester constituency, as they provide residents with the opportunity to engage with her face-to-face, alongside her regular surgeries.
