Jess Brown-Fuller MP visits the Apuldram Centre

Jess Brown-Fuller, MP for Chichester, has visited the Apuldram Centre to see first-hand the support the charity provides to adults with learning disabilities across the local community.

The Apuldram Centre is a local, independent charity based near Chichester, providing over 2,000 hours of support activity per week through its day centre, community hub, and supported living services.

Together, these services enable 139 adults with learning disabilities to build and maintain their independence, with supported living places for up to 36 individuals across Chichester, Bognor Regis and the surrounding area.

During her visit, Jess toured the site meeting staff, volunteers, and service users and took part in a question-and-answer session.

Following the visit, Jess said:

The Apuldram Centre plays an important role in supporting adults with learning disabilities across Chichester, and it was valuable to see that work in practice.

I would like to thank everyone at the Centre for hosting me, and the work they do all year round, and I will continue to raise the importance of local services like this in Parliament.
